In a shocking incident in Korchi Taluka or the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, a 32 -year -old man was arrested by the brutal murder of his wife. The defendant, identified as Pradep Harami, strangled his wife to death at home.

Initially, Harami tried to cover up the murder as an accident, claiming that his wife had slipped, fallen and hit the head on the couch. However, this deception was short.

When conducting thorough investigation, the police discovered that Harami was a repeated criminal. In 2018, he had strangled his girlfriend until death and was sentenced to three years in prison for crime. He was recently released on bail in 2024.

After his release, Harami’s family organized his marriage to Chameli, 21, a resident of Chhattisgarh. Despite being married, Harami continued to maintain an illicit relationship with another woman, exchanging photos and video calls.

Chameli suspected her husband’s behavior and confronted him with questions about the photos and his relationship. On for her persistent investigations, Harami strangled her until death on April 1. He has made the story of an accidental fall.

However, the truth arose when the autopsy report, published on April 5, revealed that Chameli had died of strangulation. After this revelation, the police arrested Harami and during the intrusion, confessed the murder. Pradep Harami is now in police custody, facing an exhaustive investigation for his wife’s murder.
