The Supreme Court had approved the sentence in response to a request of November 2023 presented by the government of Tamil Nadu against the governor of the State that indefinitely retains the consent to 10 bills approved by the State Assembly, some since 2020.
In response to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, the former judge of the Judge of the Supreme Court, Ajay Rastogi, said that the guidelines in the timeline should have declared themselves.
Dhankhar criticized the judgment of the Supreme Courts recently on Thursday that he established a schedule for the President to decide on the bills sent by the governors.
