Hanuman Yatra concluded peacefully on Saturday, with a great police deployment and wide coordination between multiple departments.

A total of around 190 processions, 150 of the Hyderabad Commissioner and 40 of the Cyberab and Rachakonda commissioners, converged in the main Sri Veera Hanuman Vijaya Yatra. The surveillance was carried out using DONES and CCTV cameras from the joint command control center.

The police commissioner of the city of Hyderabad, CV Anand, together with senior officials, supervised security at the field level and coordinated with the organizers to guarantee the timely start of the main processions.

In statements to the media later, Mr. Anand said that security arrangements were made in view of tight experiences and the current situation.

“This time also, meticulous planning was carried out in coordination with the government departments, the organizers of Vijaya Yatra and the religious leaders to guarantee the peaceful conclusion of the Yatra,” he said. The processions under the Rachakonda and Cyberab police commissioners joined the main Yatra in Gowliguda after leaving early.

The Hyderab city police deployed more than 17,000 additional armed people and forces to manage the event. The traffic deviations were in place in 45 locations to guarantee a minimum inconvenience for residents and the soft procession movement.

A joint control room was established at the Office of the Police Commissioner of the City of Hyderabad in the ICCC building in Banjara Hills. Senior GHMC officials, roads and buildings, Fire Services, Electricity, EMRI, TGSRTC, of the departments of the Water Board, Transportation and Health were present to monitor the event and solve any problem in real time.
