A young man from Bareilly died from suicide after he was supposedly harassed by his wife and family after marriage discord. Identified as Raj Arya, the man hung inside his room on Wednesday, April 9, days after his wife, Simran, presented a case against him and his whole family. A FIR was presented at the local police station where Simran’s brother worked as an agent.
According to the reports, Raj Arya and Simran had a loving marriage in April 2024 and became parents of a girl only 45 days ago. The members of his family spoke with the PTI news agency, stating that the tensions were being built for some time, which led Simran to go to their maternal home.

On Wednesday morning, Simran allegedly shared Instagram stories that claimed to have filed a police complaint against her husband, adding: “He will be in jail at 10:30 am.” In a monitoring publication, she continued: “Now go to jail.”
Later the same night, Raj Arya touches his life. Speaking to the police, the deceased’s mother recalled her conversation with her son, when he said: “Maa, I go to sleep forever.” Unwework of her intentions, she worried and anyone found him hanging from the ceiling fan.

Speaking about the matter, the Circle officer, Ajay Kumar, said that more legal processes would begin only after receiving a formal complaint of the family. Meanwhile, several old videos of the couple have emerged online, which caused a debate among users.
One wrote: “This happiness is only limited to the reel. Not really,” while another added: “There should also be a commission of men where men can be their side.”
The Council of Affairs of the Men of India, in a strong position, demanded the suspension of the Simran agent relative. “Simran used to publish reels on a regular base on Instagram, and avoided projecting her marriage life as perfect through her reels. But in reality, she was torturing and harassing her husband like anything,” added the publication.
Raj’s body has been sent by an autopsy. It is still about to be seen if your family levels the criminal charges against Simran.
