Moral police in Bengaluru: In a case of alleged moral surveillance in Bangalore, at least four people, including a minor, have been retained for allegedly harassing a boy and a girl in a public park, a police officer said on Friday.
According to the reports, the incident, place in Suvarna Layout Park, which is under the jurisdiction of the Layout Chandra police station.

These four people supposedly approached her for talking to someone from a different community and demanded the contact data of their family members, news agency PTI Reported.
“Why are you sitting on a bicycle with a child while you use a burka? You don’t have any shamme?” They allegedly asked, as cited by several media reports.
When the girl refused to share the details of Re -Family and said that the boy was his classmate, individuals, identified as MD Mohsin, MD Mansoor, MD Aphridi and Wasem Khan, according to reports, tried to assault the child.
“We have received a woman’s complaint based on which we have registered a case. We have arrested four people, including a minor,” said DCP West S Girish to the news agency.

While the police denied any violence in the incident, the videos shared on the social media platforms showed the accused men to surround the child and supposedly hit him with what seems like a wooden trunk, the reports added.
“There is no violence involved in this incident. We have tasks in an investigation in this case,” he added.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Minister, Priyank Kharge, reacted to the incident saying that the government “will not tolerate” no moral surveillance in the state. Hello, he also said that Karnataka is a “progressive state” and is not “Bihar, Uttar Pradesh or Madhya Pradesh.”
