The Superior Court of Telangana refused to approve any order in a writing request presented in search of a reduction in the share for the promotion of secondary degree teachers as school assistants.
Currently, the state government had set 33.33% of the share of the school assistant through direct recruitment and the remaining 66.66% through transfers and promotion. The 20 petitioners are unemployed and complete their B.ed. They wanted the government to improve the recruitment percentage for 80% or more school assistant positions.
A bank from the President of the Interim Justice, Sujice Paul and Judge Narsing Rao Nandikonda, who heard the matter, observed that the percentage setting for school assistant positions through direct recruitment is “totally a political decision of the state government.” The petitioners can approach the government to ventilate their complaint individually or in their representative capacity, the bank said in the order by eliminating the request for writing.
