In another case of deeply disturbing infanticide he has sent shock waves through Himachal Pradesh after the body of a decapitated newborn was found along a road in the Mandi district on Wednesday morning. The locals on their way to work stumbled upon the horrible view near Tikri Nala under the jurisdiction of the Pandoh police post. The baby’s lifeless body, which loses its head and several organans, lay abandoned by the road. Alarmed, the villagers immediately alerted the local Panchayat, which in turn contacted the police.
A Pandoh police team quickly arrived at the scene and lights the remains. A forensic unit was also called to help with investment. While the initial mutilation caused fears of rititist activity, preliminary observations suggested the possibility that street animals could dismembered the body after it has been ruled out.

This chilling discovery closely follows the heels of another tragic incident in the District of UNA, where the villagers in Alto Dhundhla were horrified after detecting the body of a newborn floating in a pond near the cremation terrain. Later, the police revealed that the baby had a leg in a stone in an apparent attempt to make sure the body sank.
