The main secretary of Himachal Pradesh organized a Holi party for his friends and companions of officers at the Holiday Home Hotel, administered by the Government, and invoiced the expenses to the government. This incident has caused controversy, with questions that Bee raised about the appropriation of said expense, Malgh that the government has not yet answered.

On March 14, Duration Holi, a party was a hero in the holiday house of the hotel in Shimla, organized by Chief Secretary Pabodh Saxena. The party was attended by 75 officers along with their families. The hotel management generated an RS 1,22,020 bill for the event and sent it to the Department of General Administration (GAD) of the state government.

The cost of the Holi party included RS 1,000 per plate for lunch and snacks, and the food was also provided for the 22 drivers who accompany the officers.

When the media asked him, Saxena defended the event, citing a long tradition that allows the governor and the main secretary to organize such meetings.

Saxena, who comes from Luckknow, UP, received an extension of six months in her service only three days before her retirement scheduled on March 31, extending her mandate until September 30.

The problem has generated criticism of the BJP, with MLA Sudhir Sharma sharing a copy of the bill on social networks, which implies that such activities cannot be hidden.

BJP and MLA Randhir Sharma spokesman also criticized the Government of Congress, accusing Frivolian expenses officials and highlighting that the bill for the Holi party was sent to GAD.

Sharma also pointed out that the Congress government had previously dedicated itself to a wasteful expense, such as placing an advertisement at the value of RS 2 million rupees in a newspaper that has an insignificant circulation in Himachal Pradesh. Sharma asked the principal minister to reduce unnecessary expense and take action against the responsible officer.

This incident is not isolated. Previously, former IAS officer, Shrira Baldi, lasted his mandate as president of Rera, had sent apples worth 10 Lakh to his companions at the expense of the government, and the Himachal government covered the cost.

Himachal Pradesh is currently dealing with a debt of RS 1 Lakh million rupees, making such expenses even more controversial. The matter has been in a trend in social networks, which reflects generalized public discontent.
