The Minister of Science and Earth Sciences of the Union, Dr. Jitendra Singh, said Wednesday at the Summit 2025 of Bharat de CNN -News18 that the country will see its own astronaut land on the surface on the moon by 2040. In addition, he said that India will have its own international space station: the Bharat space station – by 2035.
“We hope we can get an Indian astronaut on the moon by 2040. By 2035, the government expects to establish the Bharat space station, an international space station.”
