The Cyber ​​Crime Police of Hyderabad has arrested a 25 -year -old man in relation to a labor fraud that cheated several unsuspecting candidates with false promises from colleagues from employees.

The defendant, identified as Bandi Ajay Kumar, originally from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, was arrested in Bangalore, police said. The police made a mobile phone, a laptop, four banks of banks, three checks and two debit cards of the accused.

“Ajay attracted employment applicants through telegrams groups by publishing a false opening in multinational companies. A victim, a 25 -year resident of Colonia DD in Amberpet, received a work sacrifice through Telegram on February 17. Package of ₹ 6 Lakh,” said the police.

By gaining the victim’s trust through WhatsApp conversations and manufactured claims, the defendant convinced him to transfer a total sum of ₹ 2 Lakh. Once the money was received, the scammer left all communication, which led the victim to approach the police.

The researchers detailed the modus operandi used by the defendant and his accomplices. The scammers began the contact through social media platforms such as Telegram and WhatsApp, Importes or known firms. They used a professional language, conducted simulated interviews and created fake LinkedIn profiles to look credible. Once they received payments from the victims, they blocked all the lines of communication.
