The Deputy Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, on Wednesday (April 16, 2025) said he was the “pilot” and Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were “co -pilots” when the “Development plane” of the previous Government of Mahayuti took off.

The president of Shiv Sena spoke after the inauguration of an airport and a commercial passenger flight service in the city of Amravati of the East of Maharashtra.
Prime Minister Fadnavis and Pawar were also present.
The work of the Amravati airport began when Mr. Fadnavis was prime minister during 2014-2019, but stopped when the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition came to power in 2019, said Mr. Shinde.
When a “popular government” (the Mahayuti government directed by him) came to power in 2022, the construction of the airport was quickly completed, he said.
Several projects, the well -being schemes had decreased and the development had stagnated before the Mahayuti government arrived, Shinde said in an evening mockery in the MVA regime headed by Uddhav Tackeray.
