The Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad Research Park (IDRP) signed on Wednesday a Mou with Head High Foundation (HHF) to collaborate in the progress of digital literacy, rural empowerment and the development of rural skills driven by AI.
Speaking after signing the MOU, the director of IIIT-Dharwad Sr Mahadev Prasanna, who is also president of IDRP, said that the association aligned with the vision of IIIT of using AI and emerging technologies for the social good.
“The Association takes advantage of the IDRP experience in AI, Data Science and Digital Technologies, combined with the HHF’s deep basic basic experience in social transformation. Together, its goal is to close the Urban Digital Rural, divides Driverssssssssssssssss technology, educational solutions, crop management solutions and market linking platform,” he said.
The head trustee celebrated a great Madan Padaki Foundation, Deepak KT and Pankaj Singh Thakur were present.
The association will focus on the investigation and defense of policies to understand the socioeconomic impact of AI and digital interventions in rural communities. The collaboration also aims to explore investment platforms to sustainable development initiatives, ensuring the long -term impact and scalability of these solutions. The Mou is valid for three years.
