TN Government VS Governor: The Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that the decision of the governor of Tamil Nadu Rn Ravi to retain ten key law projects was “illegal” and “arbitory.”

TN Government vs Governor: On Tuesday, the Supreme Court withdrew on Tuesday to the governor of Tamil Nadu, RN Ravi, saying that his decision to retain ten key bill was “illegal” and “arbitrary.”

The bank, which includes JB Pardiwala and R Mahadevan, said the governor cannot reserve bills for the president after retaining Assenent and said he must reserve.

The Apex court also declared that any action of the president’s actions regarding the ten bills in question are legally invalid and also ruled that the ten should be considered that they received the consent of the governor to which they return to the Legislative Assembly.

“The governor’s action to reserve the 10 bills for the president is illegal and arbitrary. Therefore, the action is reserved. All the actions of the governor of the same for the 10 bills are set aside. These bills will be considered that they are.

Governor Ravi did not act in “good faith,” said the bank.

It is not open for the governor to reserve the bill for consideration by the President after he was presented for the second time, the court ruled.

“In case of retention or bills or reservation for the president, contrary to the advice of the State, the governor will decide within a period of three maximum months,” he added.

MK Stalin reacts to order SC

Speaking at the State Assembly, Tamil Nadu’s Prime Minister MK Stalin informed the Chamber of what he called “good news”, saying that Tamil’s government Nadu had reached a historical sentence of the Superior Court.

He pointed out that the governor had returned several bills approved by the Assembly without granting assent.

Ravi, a former IPS officer and former CBI official, was appointed governor of Tamil Nadu in 2021. Since then, his relationship with the Government led by MK Stalin has remained tense.
