The inaugural edition of the large-scale multilateral exercise India Africa Key Maritime Engagement (AIKEYME) Begen on Sunday (April 13, 2025) in Dar-Es Salaam, Tanzania. The six -day exercise of Aikeyme from April 13 to 18 includes the participation of Comoros, Djibouti, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauricio, Mozambique, Seychelles and South Africa, along with the Coanfitations of India and Tanzania. “This initiative is aligned with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the mutual and holistic advance of the promotion for safety and growth in all regions (Mahasagar),” said the Navy.
