The Indian naval navigation ship (INSV) Tarini that transports two official women is directed home after successfully crossing the corporal of good hope, challenged persistent rain, high -speed winds and large waves, authorities said on Friday (April 18, 2025).
The vessel was marked by ceremonial from Cape Cape in South Africa on Tuesday (April 15, 2025) for the final stretch of its return trip to Goa.
As part of Navika Sagar Parikrama II, the container, believes by Lt Cdr Dilna K and Lt Cdr Rouopa A, made a scheduled scale in Cabo del Cape recently.
Duration his port call in Cabo Cape, the ship served as a center for numerous disseminations and diplomatic commitments, said a spokesman for the Indian Navy.
“Insv Tarini is tied to home. The crew crossed the iconic corporal of good hope on April 17, marking another monumental milestone in its epic circumnavigation trip,” he said.
The crew faced persistent rain, winds of 40 knots (almost 75 kmph) and greets more than five meters high, he added.
“After sailing successful for the challenging waters of the southern ocean and crossing three main layers: Cabo de Buena Esperanza, Cabo Leeuwin and Cabo Cape, the crew is now drawing a course for India, fed by determination and adventure,” the spokesman.
“This remarkable feat shows the exceptional sailor, resistance and teamwork of the crew, establishing a new reference point for Indian navigation and inspiring a nation. The crew trip is a testimony of the growing presence of India in global exploration and adventure.
Marine Admiral Dineh K. Tripathi pointed out the Goa boat on October 2 last year.
