Navigation ship from the Indian Navy (INSV) Tarini He has sailed from Cabo, South Africa, for Goa, in the final stage of a global circumnavigation. The trip, part of the Navika Sagar Parikrama-II initiative, is being made by two official women, Lieutenant Commander Dilna K. and Lieutenant Commander Roopa A. The ship had arrived in Cabo Cape on April 1, completing the penultimate stage of its trip. The entire expedition, which covers approximately 23,400 nautical miles (43,300 km), was marked from Goa on October 2, 2024 by the head of the Naval General Staff, Admiral Dineh K. Tripathi, and is scheduled to conclude in the conclusion in Goa.
The Navy added that the circumnavigation is a significant effort aimed at the oceanic promotion navigation in India, showing the strength and resistance of Indian women in uniform, and highlighting the country in indigenous naval construction capacities.
