Two students died, and another 21 were injured after a university bus where they were traveling with an accident in the district of Jammu and Kashmir in the Kupwara district on Saturday, authorities said.
A bus at the Government University Sogam transported 27 students for a picnic lost control and became a turtle near the Handwara Vodporate area, they said.

The officials said that the tasks of injury to a hospital in Handwara, where a student was declared dead.
Two of the injured were referred to a hospital here in a critical condition, of which one succumbed to the injuries, the officials said.
They added that 20 students were receiving treatment at the Handwara Hospital.
The Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmira, Omar Abdullah, expressed a complaint about the loss of lives in the incident.
“The loss of two young promising students of GDC Sogam in the tragic accident close to Handwara is a tragedy that weighs all of us. My concesses of deposit to their families in this hour of pain. Prayers for the rapid recovery of the injured.”
The prime minister said that the government is closely monitoring the situation and ensuring all the necessary assistance.
