The tensions exploded in the district of Chittapur Taluk or the Kalaburagi district on Friday, when the Congress workers blocked the president of the state of BJP by Vijayendra and other high -level leaders during their visit to the villages of Bagodi and Belagupi in Chittapur.

The visit was part of Janakrosh Yatra of BJP, aimed at highlighting the failures of governance and application of the law under the state government led by Congress. Vijayendra and his delegation were intended to examine unauthorized sand extraction operations involving thousands or tars. The Constitution of Chittapur is represented by rural development and the Minister of Panchayat Raj, Priyank Kharge, in the State Assembly.

Vijayendra, accompanied by the opposition leader in the Chalavadi Narayananaswamy Legislative Council and the BJP head in the N. Ravikumar Council, reached the site to evaluate the first -hand situation. However, moments after his arrival, a group of workers from Congress raised slogans and tried to prevent leaders from proceeding with their inspection.

According to BJP leaders, the transport of large -scale illegal sand that involves thousands of trucks has been in account for several days in the region. They accused the administration of the district and the department of mines and geology of turning a blind eye to the activity, claiming inaction and complicity.

The former Rajkumar Patil Telkur sent Mr. Vijayendra about what he called “illegal sand mining with the support of the Administration and the Mining Mafia of the District Administration.” Hello, he claimed that the district witnessed an increase in “Goonda Raj” together with the illicit sand trade.

In addition to Vijayendra, the delegation included the general secretary of BJP, P. Rajev, MLA Basavaraj Mattimadu, the president of the Kalaburagi district, the president of BJP, Ashok Bagali and several other leaders of the party.
