Vande Bharat trains are serving on 136 routes, but the one that will open this week will not only be different, but also special. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open Vande Bharat car for Kashmiro on Saturday, which will cover the distance between Katra and Srinagar in just three hours.
Speaking to News18, an official of the Railroad Ministry said that the trip between Katra and Srinagar takes between six and seven hours on the road, while a flight between the destinations has been less than an hour.
“Katra is well connected to almost all parts of the country. There are direct trains of several cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kanyakumari. The new Vande Bharat between Katra and Srinagar will offer trips with more comfort. Those who plan to go to Kashmir can arrive in Katra for the first time to Katra and take the new Bharat vande Kashmir.
The completion of the UDHAMPUR SRINAGAR-BARAMULLA RAILLA LINK (USBRL) project has allowed the movement of the train between Jammu and Kashmira. Until now, trains are operational between the Srinagar and Sangaldan railroad stations. Now, with the completion of the section between Sanglaldan and Katra, trains will operate between these areas. The prime minister will also open this section on Saturday. The essays have been underway during the last weeks in the section.
The USBRL project was planned and announced in 1994-95, but although the part of Cashmira Valley-Qazigund to Baramulla-Became Operational for 2009, connectivity to the railway network beyond the valley remained a dream.

Railways is planning the additional security deployment and the scan of additional passengers at the Katra station compared to other stations. The official said that conversations are made for adequate security controls and exhaustive frequency or passengers for trains that go to Kashmir, considering the sensitivity of the area.
Vande bharat specially designed
In January, News18 reported on the unique features of the train that vary from windshield heating elements, silicon heating pads in water and bio-tiletet tanks, heated plumbing pipes and heated in Indian bathrooms.
These updates at Vande Bharat will allow car trains of the thesis chair to operate through the year, only in the hard winters of Kashmir. The eight training train has two classes, one of the executive class coaches and seven air conditioning chair cars.
