‘Licence Must Be Cancelled’: Supreme Court’s Tough Guidelines On Child Trafficking At Hospitals

The Supreme Court directed the immediate suspension of hospital licenses if newborns are trafficked and ordered that children’s traffic trials are completed within six months.

The Supreme Court said Tuesday that the hospital’s license must be canceled if a newborn is stolen from there.

A JB Pardiwala and R Mahadevan Judges also ordered the courts above the whole country to issue instructions to the lower courts to complete the judgments in cases of children’s trafficking in six months.

“The upper courts throughout the country are ordered to request the state of pending judgments in cases of children’s trafficking. The instructions will be issued to complete the trial in six months and also make a daily judgment,” he added.
