India is on the way to producing its own AI model and is obliged to grow in the manufacture of electronics, said the Minister of the Ashwini Vaishnaw union on Wednesday at the Bharat 2025 Summit of CNN-NEWS18 in Delhi.

Vaishnaw said that India would start producing chips this year, and that plants are currently being established while validation is in process. “We will have a chip made in India this year,” he said.
