Ridiculizing the ‘drama’ of BJP leaders to clean the statues of Dr. Br Ambedkar, the deputy of the Chamala Congress Kiran Reddy asked if they cleaned the statues for the ‘unpleasant’ comments made by the home at Union Home Home Dr. Ambedkar.
In a statement here, he said it was ridiculous that the ministers of the Union G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay had cleaned the statues of Dr. Ambedkar and called this as a drama to escape criticism. He said they never talked about the ‘insult’ or Dr. Ambedkar in Parliament by the Minister of the Interior of the Union, Amit Shah.
Mr. Reddy challenged BJP leaders to Mr. Shah to apologize first with the country before cleaning the statues. “They are trying to convince the people of Telangana that the BJP was following Ambedkar’s ideology. But people will never forget how they made unpleasant accusations about him in Parliament,” he said.
