In a suspended case of premeditated murder, a man was fatally stabbed by unidentified individuals in the early hours of Monday (April 14, 2025) in Bazaar de Bazaar, Hyderabad, a few days before his wedding. The deceased, identified as Masiuddin, was scheduled to marry on Saturday (April 19, 2025).
Police confirmed that he had a criminal record and that he appeared as a Sheeter at the Falaknuma police station.
Police said the incident occurred between 1 and 1.15 am on Monday. “According to the reports, Masiuddin had eliminated wedding invitations when he was ambushed and attacked with knives. Arif Khan and another individual is among those who are involved in the assault, which is taken from Belieceed, he said.
The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack. When alerted, the police reached the location, cordoned off the area and changed the body for a post mortem exam.
Researchers suspect that personal rivalry may have been the reason behind the murder. CCTV images of the neighborhood are being reviewed, and forensic evidence is being collected as part of the investigation. A case has been registered and the investigation is currently in progress.
