A 30 -year -old man died when a wall of the straw house collapsed on Friday night after a heavy rain in Madapuram, near Thiruthuraipondi.
Police said the victim, Anandraj, rested on an iron crib at home when the mud wall collapsed over him because the strong downpour. His body was recovered from the debris and sent to the Government Hospital in Thiruthuraipondi for Postmortem, police said.
