Tamil Nadu’s Prime Minister MK Stalin, on Sunday (April 13, 2025) paid tributes to the late Bindhshwari Prasad Mandal, former principal minister of Bihar, whose recommendation of reports for other backward classes (OBC) in government works, made significant in the country.

On the anniversary of Mandal’s death, Mr. Stalin said: “We provide tribute to Thiru. BP #mandal, a carrier of social justice torches whose commission exposes the structural denial of the opportunity to Obc. The Dravidian movement firmly remained with its vision, the nation also recognized it.”

Mr. Stalin said the battle that Mandal defended was “far from finishing.” Many of his bold and fair recommendations still accumulated dust, and the search for social justice continued to face “resistance in new forms,” CM said. “Honor #bpmandal means implementing its complete vision, not diluting it. We are still committed to that fight.”
