On Monday there was a mass fire at Lok Bandhu hospital in Lucknow, and fire fighting operations are currently in progress. Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke with officials and incident note.

According to the reports, the fire originated on the second floor of the hospital, covering the entire building with thick smoke and causing panic between staff and patients. Firefighters worked at full speed to control the situation with the help of senior administrative officers, who arrived at the scene shortly after the fire broke out.

So far they have not reported injuries or leg victims. At least 200 patients in the hospital were safely transferred to other centers. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown.

“A fire exploded at Lok Bandhu hospital. The 200 patients were changed safely. There has been no civil case or injury. Fire officials are currently inside the building and trying to control the fire,” said CM Brajeh Pathak.

Police Commissioner Amaendra Singh Sengar also confirmed that all patients had been evacuated and transferred to nearby hospitals.
