Men Drape Sarees, Pose As Women Working For MGNREGA To Claim Benefits Worth Lakhs In Karnataka

Payment of Karnataka Mgnrega: In the district of Yadir de Karnataka, he passed through women and uploaded false photos of assistance to claim fraudulate the benefits of Mgnrega by value of RS 3 Lakh. The scam caused local outrage.

Karnataka MGENGA PAYMENT: Several men dressed in Saris covered their heads and passed by women to disappoint a government plan and claim benefits worth 3 Lakh.

The incident occurred in the Yadir district of Karnataka, where men clicks on the women, and these photos were later uploaded to the National Mobile Monitoring Service (NMMS), an assistance registration system, to falsely portray workers.

According to the details, these images were clicks and charged in February of this year.

The scam not only disappointed the government’s scheme but also left women, desperately looking for work, without work.

When the scam came to light, the district locals demanded a strict action against the authorities.

Meanwhile, the local Panchayat blamed some workers outsourced by the scam and claimed that they were not involved officers.

“I don’t have any role in this case. Said the development officer of the Malhar village.

The Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj said it had task initiatives in March, to provide jobs for 100 days in a year under the Mngrega scheme.

This was aimed at prevention of workers to migrate to large cities.

Yadir Zila Panchayat said the demand centers had opened in all the Grams and Taluk Panchayats to help those who need work.
