The Minister and Leader of Ahinda, SáSH JARKIHOLI, has favored a special session of the state legislature to discuss the report of the socio-educational survey (cast census) recently presented to the state government.

“I think it is appropriate to call a special session to discuss the social and educational survey in detail. It will be good if there is an opportunity to discuss this report openly. If a group of caste says that it has suffered injustice, it can.” Jarkiholi said.

“If there are doubts about the numbers of the survey, the study, then, must be discussed at home.

Mr. Jarkiholi found nothing bad in the deputy main minister and the president of KPCC DK Shivakumar convention a meeting or legislators of the vocculara community. “Mr. Shivakumar is the leader of the Vokkiga community and there is nothing wrong with him to address his meeting or discuss the report,” he said.

Hi, he questioned the logic behind the state BJP that contains a Janakroshaa Yatra against the increase in prices. “When it is clearly known that the incorrect policies of the Government of the Union and the records in fuel prices have led to the increase in the prices of essential products, why is the BJP dragging us? The people of the state see this”, the minister.

Prime Minister Siddaramaiah has written to the Prime Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, to release water from the Koyna reservoir to the Krishna River course for drinking water purposes. “We will follow our counterparts in Maharashtra,” said the minister.

Mr. Jarkiholi held a meeting with the attached commissioner Mohammed Roshan and other officials with respect to the elevated corridor, the construction of the district collector’s office, irrigation problems, drinking water storage in the Hidkal dam and some development works of the forest department.
