Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday with Rampal Kashyap, a Kaithal resident of Haryana, who 14 years ago had committed not to wear footwear until Mr. Modi became prime minister and with him in person.
Mr. Kashyap with the Prime Minister in Yamunanagar, where the letter opened and cut the stone of the foundation of development projects.

Just when Mr. Modi assumed the position in 2014, Mr. Kashyap continued traveling barefoot, waiting for a meeting with the prime minister. An official statement said Mr. Modi felt honored when he learned Mr. Kashyap. Citizens urged to focus their energy on significant actions linked to social work and the construction of the nation.
In a separate publication on X, Mr. Modi wrote: “In today’s public meeting in Yamunanagar, I with Shri Rampal Kashyap Ji de Kaithal. He made tasks a vote 14 years ago, he will only wear footwear after becoming PM and got me. Request all the votes that I accelerated … Please, please, it is linked to the footwear for the social work and Nation! “
