Modi will set capital construction works in motion on May 2, says Chief Secy.

Andhra Pradesh chief secretary, K. Vijayanand, said Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would visit the State to launch capital construction work on May 2.

The subcommittee of the Cabinet, which includes Ministers Payyavula Keshav, Kollu Ravindra, Y. Satyakumar Yadav, Nadenndla Manohar and P. Narayana, which was established to supervise the arrangements for the visit on April 21, he said.

Going to a meeting to discuss the issue in the Secretariat, Mr. Vijayanand said that the place where Prime Minister N. Chandababu Naidu launched the P-4 initiative ended as the place of the event.

It had not yet been confirmed if the program would be a hero in the morning or the event, he added, and suggested to officials to make infallible arrangements for the visit of Mr. Modi.

The main secretary told officials to take special care of the minimum facilities that will be provided in view of summer and that the great crowd hoped to meet there, with the due focus on security, since several dignitaries would appreciate the occasion.

The main secretary (GAD) Mikesh Kumar Meena advised the officials to have adequate coordination with the police department to avoid adverse incidents, and the guidelines would be a child issued to the officials and personnel of all departments.

G. Verapanian, Medical Health Commissioner and Family Welfare, who had been appointed Nodal officer to monitor packages for the visit of the Prime Minister, seals and records IG Hari Narayana, and the CRDA M. Naveen Chand and others.

The collectors of the districts of Guntur, NTR and Krishna, and the heads of several departments participated virtually.
