A 35 -year -old man was killed in an alleged attempt to evade routine trafficking controls in Balanagar on Sunday afternoon (April 13). The deceased, identified as Jossbabu, a carpenter, was riding a motorcycle when he was stopped by a traffic agent for routine control.

According to Cyberabad police commissioner, Avinash Mhanty, Jossbabu initially complied with the agent’s instructions and moved to the left, but suddenly deviated to the right. In doing so, he crashed with another two -wheeled vehicle, lost his balance and fell to the ground, where he was hit by subsidies by an RTC bus that was approaching from behind.

The official clarified that the traffic agent involved in the incident, Gopal, who is working with the Jeedimetla traffic police, had been tested by alcohol, with results that did not show traces in his system.

Balaanagar police reserved a case. After the incident, the commissioner has the direction of the special branch and the traffic wing to carry out an exhaustive investigation. “Other actions will be tasks based on the findings,” he said.
