Madhya Pradesh police arrested a false cardiologist accused of causing the death of seven patients in a prominent hospital in Damoh. The individual, identified as Dr. N. John Camm, was passed through a retired cardiologist from the United Kingdom. He was taken to Damoh to interrogate him, and the police interrogation is underway.

The investigations revealed that CAMM is a resident of Dehradun with a unclear past, doubtful and without credentials of legitimate cardiology. Despite this, I was performing complex procedures at the Mission Hospital of Damoh, including angiographies and angioplasties.

According to the police, his Aadhaar card says that his real name is Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav. His qualifications included an MBBS of Andhra Pradesh and multiple questionable titles of MD and cardiology of institutions in Darjeeling, Calcutta and the United Kingdom. However, none of these degrees had verifiable registration numbers, which increases the Conerns on their authenticity.

Dr. N. John Camm, who identified himself as an interventionist cardiologist associated with Klinikum Nürnberg hospital in Germany, was arrested after an investigation by the MK Jain District medical officer discovered that his doctor’s title made a registration number.

In his research report, Jain revealed that Dr. N. John Camm was registered in the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council, a mandatory requirement to practice medicine in the state. The Mission Hospital could not provide records that verify the credentials of Dr. Camm.

According to this report, CAMM was reserved under Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Sections 318 (4) (trap), 338 (falsification of important documents), 336 (3) (falsification with the intention of deceiving) and 340 (Jintil) and 340 and 340 and 340.

Abhishek Tiwari, CSP, Damoh, said: “Chmo (Medical and Health Director) Dr. MK Jain has submitted a report that indicates that Dr. Narendra John Kem, employed at the Missions Hospital, presented counterfeit and frahyme medical documents.

Pushpa Khare, manager in charge, Mission Hospital, said that Narendra was appointed through Iwus, an agency registered in the Madhya Pradesh government. The agency, he said, was responsible for verifying the doctor’s credentials and documents.
