According to police officers, the sender had threatened to fly the actor’s car and assault him in his residence.
Mumbai police arrested a man from Vadodara de Gujarat on Monday in relation to a new death threat sent to Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The threat message was the prayer through WhatsApp to the Mumbai Traffic Police help line in Worli a day ago.
The 26 -year -old, identified as Mayank Pandya, is being treated as a suspect in the case.
According to his family, Pandya is mentally bad and has been in treatment since 2014. The police are now verifying their medical history and the mental health records presented by the family, according to per for Lokmat Times Report.
No more details have been revealed about the suspect, since the police continue to examine all possible angles in the investment.
According to police officers, the sender had threatened to fly Khan’s car and assault him in his residence. The threat led to Worli Police Station to register a case under section 351 (2) (3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for criminal intimidation against an unidentified person.
Meanwhile, the police have also pressed security outside Khan’s residence in Bandra and intensified patrols in the area.
Range of threat messages
Bollywood actor, Salman Khan, has faced multiple death threats over the years, many of which have been linked to Lawrence Bishnoi gang. It is believed that the group addresses the actor on his alleged participation in the 1998 Blackbuck peanking peanked peanut.
While Lawrence Bishnoi is currently present in the central jail of Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, facing charges that include attempted murder and extortion, their associates allegedly fired outside the Bandra house of Khan in April last year.
Only one week after the shooting, the Navi Mumbai police claimed to have discovered a gang plot to attack Khan during one of his visits to his Panvel farm, located on the outskirts of Mumbai.
