Three people were killed in the Murshidabad district of the West Bengal after the violent clashes supposedly linked to the ongoing protests against the WAQF Law (amendment).
A father and a son were allegedly killed inside his home in Jafrabad, who is under the jurisdiction of the Samshanganj police station. A young man who suffered a gunshot wound succumbed to his wounds on Saturday.
Officials News18 That 138 people have arrested on the legs so far.
The tensions continue to prevail in Nimtita, Shamsherganj, Jangipur, Suti and Jafrabad, but the Ferrocarrile Police Force (RPF) and the Border Security Forces (BSF) remain parked in those places and told the news agency Ians That the situation is under control.
