Violent protests on the WAQF (amendment) law in Murshidabad caused three deaths, injuries to several police officers and a fire caused. Security forces have restored order, with 150 judgments.

Parts of the West Bengal Murshidabad, which witnessed violent protests over the weekend on the WAQF (amendment) law, remain in time of the paramilitary forces that patrolled parts of the district.
Until now up to 150 people have arrested their legs as the raids continued during the night.
Meanwhile, the situation has been controlled, since state governor CV Ananda Bose said he was celebrating regular discussions with Prime Minister Mamata Banerjee while the center was monitoring the situation in the Muslim majority district.
Several vehicles, including police trucks, were set on fire, stones were thrown into the security forces and stores, and police kiosks burned the duration of the uproar.
As the protesters dispersed, the personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) accompanied by the State Armed Police and the RAF carried out a route along the National Highway and Aitas and nearby bylanes.
Murshidabad Violence: The Dead Number
Violence claimed the lives of three people, while many others were injured.
The main areas that witnessed violence were Suti, Dhulian, Samserganj and Jangipur, and there were no reports of any new incident of any place in the district.
The bodies of a man and his son were found with multiple wounds of a white weapon in his house in Samsergerj.
A 21 -year -old man also died on Saturday after receiving shocks of bullet wounds in Suti on Friday.
At least 18 police were also injured in violence.
There were reports that a young man was shot dead and injured near his residence in Dhulian. Police, however, did not confirm it.
Murshidabad Violence: Restrictions instead
Meanwhile, prohibition orders under Section 163 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) remain in the pockets affected by violence where roads have a deserted look and their transforders demolished stores.
Internet remains suspended in affected areas, while security forces are carrying out controls in vehicles along the main roads.

BJP, TMC at Word of Words
On Sunday, the state leaders of BJP Suvendu Adhikari, Sukanta Majumdar Dilip Ghosh and the judge converted into MP Abhijit Gangopadhyay walked on a rally in Kolkata to protest the “appeasement policy” of the ruling Trinamole Congress.
Adhikari said his party will also see a CBI investigation into the murder of a man and his son in Samsergerj.

Majumdar, in an X position, calls the protesters “jihadi groups” and said they were “under the pretext of protesting against the Waqf amendment law” E “tried to continue erasing the existence of Hindus in the request for bombing” …

The BJP deputy, Jyotimay Singh Mahato, wrote to the Minister of the Interior of the Union, Amit Shah, and demanded to impose Fenspa in Murshidabad and three other districts: Cursed, Nadia and South 24 Parganas, in view of the prevailing situation.
Meanwhile, the ruling conspiracy of TMC Crid states that the BJP is flooding social networks with false photos and videos that represent violence in Bengal, which were real incidents that occurred in other states.
The general secretary of TMC, Kunal Ghosh, alleged that a large section of uproarists had allowed them to sneak into Murshidabad through the Indo-Bangla border and said that BSF’s role is not above the suspicion in violence.
Sharing a state BJP post that contains photographs that represent the duration of violence, nine Hindu festivals “in Western Bengal”, TMC Rajya Sabha Sagarka Ghose affirmed in a position X that none of those incidents happened.
“This is the BJP lies campaign, community polarization and incitement policy,” he said and urged the police to take measures.
