Muthukur to be developed as a model village under P4

The little known Muthukur Village is ready to become a “model town”, with the Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited and Adani Foundation by joining the hands to assume the initiative.

The town falls under Sarvepalli constitutes represented by former Minister Somireddy Chandamohan Reddy, who has taken the advantage to develop the region under the prestigious P4 mode of the state government.

The company will focus on the areas of renewable energy, sanitation, education and empowerment to allow the benefits to leak to the citizens of the village, which is near the port.

Similarly, the Andhra Pradesh (APPCB) contamination board will be linked to Muthukur Panchayat to bring sanitation and hygiene to a higher level and turn it into a “clean and green town”.

The president of the APPCB, P. Krishnaiah and collector O. Anand, who participate in the initiative together with Mr. Chandramohan Reddy on Friday, appreciated the gesture of the company represented by its executive director Jagdish Patel, chief (corporate) km RAM, Pro G. Venugopal and CSR Rajesh Rajan to arrive.

Mr. Chandramohan Reddy also called for the Adani group to consider building a stadium in the town and developing the local cemetery.
