Nanguneri SC boy who was attacked by gang not cooperating with investigators: police

After receiving first aid for the injury he had suffered in the attack at the Tirunelveli Medical College hospital, the boy wanted to go home.

He told the Police that he had gone to meet a “friend of social networks” in the vassantham nagar area around 7 pm, where 4 people demanded money. As he had no money, he was hit and snatched his mobile phone, he said.

“When we asked the child to give his identification of social networks and the password to identify the friend of social networks in whose invitation he had gone to the Vasantham Nagar extension area and was beaten, he said he had forgotten the identification and password. When trying to recover his identification of social networks and the password through his email identification, he also said he did not remember his email identification and the password.

Meanwhile, researchers have collected CCTV filming in the Vasantham Nagar extension area and a film theater in the area shown with another person. Police also said that the child was lying to some specific questions of investigators in an attempt to divert their investigation.

“Although the child does not reveal vital details that we need, we are working intensely to decipher the case,” said Police Commissioner, the city of Tirunelveli, Santosh Hadimani.
