With Karnataka Prime Minister, Siddaramaiah, delivering the Administrative Approval Chart to the Deputy Commissioner, Yadir, is likely that the demand of the newly formed Taluks people has an administrative building of Taluk is complying.
Mr. Siddaramaiah delivered the letter to B. Sushela, attached commissioner, after the new Taluks obtained administrative approval during the recent meeting held at Bengaluru.
Yadir’s district had three Taluks: Yadir, Shahapur and Shorapur (Surpur) then. But these Taluks were divided when Prime Minister Jagadish Shetter announced it in 2013, as Gurmitkal divided from Yadir, Wadagera de Shahapur and Hunsagi of Shorapur, respectively.
Despite the announcement, the new Taluks did not receive Taluk administrative buildings even after many years. Therefore, he was forced to function with the government buildings available locally. But, the lack of sufficient space for the administration, the officers and the general public also faced difficulties, more part in summer.
Taking into account the need, the Congress government led by Siddaramaiah had promised to build new Taluk administrative buildings and appointed them “Praja Soudha” and approved the proposal made by the cabinet meeting held in Kalaburagi in September.
After the necessary formalities, Taluks finally obtained the administrative approval of the construction of Praja Soudhas in each Taluk at a cost of ₹ 8.60 million rupees in two phases.
Both Wadagera and Hunsagi Taluks were represented by the Mlas Channareddy Patil Tunnur and Venufopal Naik Raja Congress, while Gurmitkal was represented by JD (s) MLA Sharanaguda Kandkur. It is known that all MLAs have joined their hands so that Praja Soudhas obtains administrative approval.
“The main minister has shown special concern to build administrative buildings in the newly trained Taluks, since they were very necessary for the operation without problems of daily activities and public convenience. The new Praja Soudha buildings will have all the basic wishes, Mermrition Tunnur reacted.
“The Yadir district has remained the other way around with the lack of civic facilities and government buildings. The government must establish other required buildings, including the courts, for the Taluks for general development,” Sharanu Gadduge Gaddgege
