The National Research Agency (NIA) is likely to take Tahawwur Rana to different cities in India to investigate the angle that the plans similar to the terrorist attacks of Mumbai 26/11 would also be executed in another part of the country, he said.
The NIA received a 18 -day return from the Mumbai 2008 attacks accused Rana on Thursday night, after its successful extradition of the United States. The agency had sought 20 -day custody, however, the Special Court of the Delhi Patiala House granted a return until April 29.
The anti -terrorism probative agency intends to bring Rana to different cities to recreate the scene 17 years after these sinister plans were executed in Mumbai. The sources said this is the reason why the child wanted a long custody of the Pakistani native that is a lashkar operation.
“NIA needs to probe the angle that the Mumbai model (attacks) should be implemented in different cities of India and that similar attacks would also be carried out,” sources told CNN-News18.
