The National Research Agency (NIA) questioned the Mumbai attack conspirator, Tahawwur Hussain Rana, for the second consecutive day to investigate a larger conspiracy behind the 2008 terrorist attacks, the sources said on Saturday (April 12, 2025).
They said Rana is being investigated by a team of NIA officials to determine their exact role behind the attacks that shook the nation about 16 years.
It is said that Rana is roasted on the basis of several potential clients gathered by the probability of the course of his investigation, including a large number of telephone calls between him and his co-Compryer David Citenty aka Count Gilani County County.
He would also be questioned about the people with whom with him, especially an alleged key contact in Dubai, who is said to take into account the plans to carry out Mumba’s horror strikes, the sources said.
Rana was taken to the ISA headquarters at dawn on Friday after a court in Delhi granted the custody of 18 days to the investigation agency, after its extradition of the United States.
It is kept in a highly insured cell, within the central office of the anti -terrorism agency in the CGO complex in New Delhi, being protected by security personnel throughout the day, sources said.
The 64-year-old Canadian entrepreneur Pakistani would also be questioned about his suspicious links with the officials of the Spy Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency of Pakistan and his association with the Las Hestated terrorist group, Etattiba.
Researchers also hope to find some important potential clients in their trips in north and southern parts of India, days before carnage in the country’s financial capital on November 26, 2008, they said.

The anti -terrorism agency had produced frog before the Special Court of NIA in the Patiala house after formally placing it under trial after its arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) on Thursday night, after its extradition of the USS USS.
