A tenth class student, who was missing since April 14 after he went to his training classes, was found at the New Delhi train station on Wednesday and told the police that he escaped from home when he was upset with his decision to join the army.

Krishna Gopal Sharma, in charge of the Police Station of Sector 113, Noida, said that “on April 14, a complaint was received from which a 16 -year -old student or class 10 was missing.”

He left home for training classes, but the employees of the training center told the student’s father around 2 in the afternoon that he did not come to the class.

A case was recorded under section 137 (2) or Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Police Station of sector 113 and a police team formed to track the student, he said.

The student’s family shared his photo in social media groups with an aid appeal to find him, and at no time the message went viral in many groups.

“The police team reviewed the CCTV images of nearby places and also slipped away with local people about the student. On Wednesday, the student was found by a police team at the New Delhi train station.

“He told Police that Hed joined the Army. He is the only son of his family, so his family members oppose his decision to join the army,” Sharma said.

The teenager has met his family, said the police officer.
