The South Indian Chapter of Oista International has been accredited as a consulting organization to carry out environmental impact evaluations (EIA) by the National Board of Education and Training Accreditation (NABET), a constituent agency of the Quality Council of India. The Council aims to promote a quality culture in all development activities and, as such, any construction project exceeding 20,000 square meters requires prior environmental authorization. NABET grants accreditation to appropriate organizations to carry out EIA. Oisca is now authorized to undertake eggs for large construction projects ranging from 20,000 to 1,50,000 square meters.

In addition, the Indian Oista International Chapter meets the requirements of ISO 14001: 2015 to carry out environmental education, conservation activities and green audits in educational institutions, according to a press release.
