On Cam: Clash Breaks Out During Hanuman Jayanti Procession In MP’s Guna, Stones Hurled

A shock broke out between two groups of the Verman Jayanti procession in the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday, with images that show a stone fight instance.

The incident occurred around 8 pm when the procession passed near the Colonelganj Mosque, authorities said, adding that the activation point was the exchange of slogans between the members of two communities.

A video of the incident shows police officers wielding sticks while dispersing the crowd after the clashes. Another clip captured two groups that participated in a fight while stones were thrown at the police on the scene.

The Superintendent Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar Sinha said that some people were injured in the incident and that the situation was immediately controlled.

“The procession was passing close to the duration of the Colonelganj mosque, which raised between the two communities. We came to know that the stone fight also in which some people have been kuradas,” said SP Sinha.

“The force was immediately sent as soon as the information was received. The situation was controlled in 15-20 minutes. The funds of the funds have a bone identified in the basic or video images. The situation is normal … we appeal to the people who do not pay in the rums,”

The magistrate of the district of Guna, Kishore Kumar Kanyal, also confirmed that the situation has been normalized and is being monitored closely.

“The situation is completely under control. We get to know that 2-3 people have been Kurda. We are monitoring from the control room. Do not pay attention to any son of rumors,” Kanyal said.

In addition, he informed that, as part of the police action, a FIR has been submitted against CuatroCrels and the police were deployed in the area to harden security.
