The former minister of the Union, PC Thomas, delivered a legal notice about the governor of Kerala, Rajendra Arlekar, for his criticisms of the verdict of the Supreme Court in the case of the governor of Tamil Nadu.
The reported statements of the governor that the ruling of the Supreme Court that establishes a framework for governors to deal with the bills authorized by the Legislature was an overreach equivalent to contempt or court.
Thomas said he would initiate contempt for judicial processes against the governor if he did not respond to the notification within seven days.
