Pakistan’s army said India launched air attacks against the early country on Wednesday (May 7, 2025), promising to respond to the attack of Indian missiles.

Some time ago, India launched air attacks in the Subhanullah mosque in the Ahmed East East area of Bahwalpur, Kotli and Muzaffrabad in three places in the air, he said Ary news channel.

“All our Air Force aircraft are in the air. This cowardly and shameful attack was carried out from the Airspace of India. They never allowed to come and end up in the space of Pakistan,” he said.

“Let me say it unequivocally: Pakistan will respond to this at a time and place to choose. This atrocious provocation will not remain unanswered,” he added.

He said that damage evaluations are carried out and more information will be provided later.

This “temporary happiness” that India has achieved with this attack will be replaced by a lasting complaint, he added.

Later, the authorities said the Indian strikes attacked five places in Kotli, Muzaffrabad and Bagh in Pok and in the areas of Bahawalpur and Muridke of Punjab.

According to security sources, the strike resulted in the murder of a child, a woman and a man suffered serious injuries in the attack in the mosque in the Ahmadpur Sharqia or Bahawalpur area.

Pakistan has closed its airspace for all air traffic for 48 hours. The ties between India and Pakistan collapsed after Pahalgam’s terrorist attack on April 22 who killed 26 people, mostly tourists.

India announced a series of punitive measures against Pakistan, including the suspension of the Indo Water Treaty, the closure of the only crossing of operational terrestrial borders in Attari and degradation of diplomatic ties after the terrorist attack.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had told the maximum brass of defense that the armed forces have “operational freedom” to decide on fashion, objectives and the time of Indian’s response to attack.
