An expert committee that includes personnel at the General Hospital of Sassoon and BJ Medical College has presented its investment report on the death of Tanisha Bhise, 37, who was allegedly denied the treatment at the Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital.

The State -appointed Research Committee found before that DMH violated emergency care protocols by rejecting admission to pregnant women when I could not pay a ₹ 10 Lakh deposit. Later, Bhise was transferred to another installation where she succumbed after delivering twins.

Pune Police had sought medical experience of government hospitals on April 8 as part of their investigation. The authorities confirmed that the classified report has been submitted to both the Medical Education Commissioner and the Alankar Police Station, incorporating DMH medical findings, Manipal Hospital, Hospital Surya and Indira FIV.

The authorities have not revealed the conclusions of the report as investigations continue.
