A 40 -year -old man from Jharkhand died after he accidentally fell while trying to board a moving train at the Secondarabad train station on Friday (May 2, 2025).

The deceased, identified as Pavan Kumar, a resident of SonPurwa in the Garhwa district, was trying to board Danapur Express from platform number 8 when he lost his balance and fell into the gap between the track and the platform. Police said he fell from the train when he was approaching from the end of the Hyderabad platform, next to the feet bridge.

Alerted by a call, the officials of the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Secunderabad arrived at the scene and took it out. He was immediately transferred to Gandhi Hospital, where the service doctor declared the dead victim.

The body was sent for a postmortem exam. The authorities said the body will be delivered to the deceased’s family after the end of the medical-legal procedures. A case was reserved and an investigation is underway.
