Plans afoot to commission international courier cargo terminal, says Tiruchi Airport Director

The director of the airport of Touchi, S. Gnaneswara Rao, said Friday that the plans were Affotion, the International Messenger Cargo Terminal in the Airport soon.

In statements to journalists at the airport after holding a meeting with the interested parties, including the messaging loading agents in the international messaging load operations, Mr. Gnaneswara Rao said there were no problems with the customs authorities, since they had issued the notification to begin international messaging operations at the Touchi airport.

Regarding the delay in starting messaging load operations, Rao said that although the customs authorities had given their notification for international messaging operations, there were no customs agents of customs here.

“Duration of the discussion, we came to know that there were four agents who had registered in the Customs District. We received some comments from the meeting and would be tasks with the AAICLAS authorities in New Delhi,” said the space and added experience.

Mr. Rao said the guarantees had come from the agents to provide shipments and, therefore, the steps would be tasks to begin operations soon.
