Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the founder of DMDK, ‘Captain’ Vijayakanth on Monday and said that people in generations remembered him for the good he did for society.
Modi’s comments were produced after Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK), General Secretary, Pre stage Vijayakant, said that the prime minister was like an older brother for her and that always saw her husband’s colract and foundation of the party.
Modi said in an X publication: “My dear friend Captain Vijayakanth was remarkable! He and I interact so closely over the years and we also worked together.” “People in all generations remember him for the good he did for society,” said Modi, labeling the premccal of HERKARKS.

She said that Vijayakanth was not only an imposing figure in Tamil and politics cinema, but also a man who won the love and respect of many, including the prime minister.
“Narendra Modi Ji always saw him as more than a political colleague. He would like to call him the ‘Leon of Tamil Nadu’ and verify him as an older brother who lasted his illness. His link was the construction beyond, Itand, it was aticshial, it was AticShons, he said.
Publishing the video in X, Preallatha said that both Modi and her husband were very good friends. He set out to greet Vijayakanth on his birthdays or asked about his health every time DMDK Tok founder.

The DMDK separated with the BJP and aligned with the Aiadmk in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The PMK, another Aiadmk ally, however, joined the BJP.
The combination of ruling DMK was victorious in the surveys, ensuring the 39 Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu.
