In an alarm gymnastics at a branch or National Punjab Bank in Nilokheri, in the Karnaal district of Haryana, a routine bank visit ended in violence after a cashier allegedly attacked a client with a pair or scissors duration of a dispute.

The incident occurred around 3:30 pm on Wednesday, April 16, when a local merchant, Pawan Sharma, arrived at the bank to deposit money. According to Sharma, after delivering the cash to the ATM, he was informed that the deposit could not be processed because the bank hours were over. According to the reports, there was an argument when Sharma insisted on the deposit, which caused the cashier to violently attack.

In a sudden climb, the cashier allegedly grabbed a couple of scissors and stabbed the client in his hand. The injured merchant was urgently taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed that although he suffered injuries, his condition is stable.

Eye witnesses and bank staff were stunned by the assault. Before the police could arrive, the accused cashier fled from the facilities. Police recovered a couple of blood -stained scissors that came to the scene, which is believed to be used in the attack. A formal investigation has begun and forensic evidence of the scene is being analyzed.

The bank manager, Anand, speaking with the media, confirmed that the cashier was suspended immediately after the incident. “The senior bank officials arrived at the site as soon as they were informed. We are fully cooperating with the investigation,” he said.

Investigative officer Sandep said the police identified the defendant and that they were working on multiple leads to track him. A trial is expected soon.
